Cookbook Resource is your go-to for all things cookbook.
Buying a cookbook is an investment. The books themselves cost more than the average hardcover, ingredients are an additional expense, let alone the time you spend shopping and cooking. I hope to provide you with in-depth, kitchen-tested reviews and information to help you decide on your cookbook purchase.
While the site is new, I'll be building the base of reviews with new releases and long-loved titles.
Weighing whether or not to buy that new book you saw advertised on Instagram? Looking for the perfect baking book? Start here.
Don't see a review you're looking for? Let me know: laura@cookbookresource.com.
I'm so glad you're here. Let's cookbook nerd-out together.
About Me
I'm Laura! I'm a huge cookbook fan and culinary school grad with a background in journalism and photojournalism. I'm Boston-based and cook and photograph all the recipes you see in my home kitchen.
Guests pause at my cookbook library and say "so you like to cook?" Yes! I also like to read them like novels and can't wait for new releases.
This site has been a long-time dream! I've started the project several times between having two small children and moving back and forth from Australia.
I can't tell you how excited Cookbook Resource is FINALLY live.
I have experience working in restaurant and catering kitchens, interning at America's Test Kitchen, writing at WBUR's former Public Radio Kitchen blog, and making food photographs and video. Dear reader, I hope these experiences lead to a thorough and reliable review for you.
Read and cook along with me. I'd love to hear what you think.
